//Do you have a thing for heartbreaking poems?//
27 June 2019,
I had a dream last night, I was in the church dressed in white, you were by my side tracing my fingers with your thumb, and whispering sweet words to me. A lot of known people and some strangers occupied the benches as we took our vows.
The ceremony ended and I rushed to hug you.
I woke up.
My sheets stained with a new scent.
Summer will turn to fall,
Winter will turn to spring,
And through the passing seasons,
I will change the sheets every day,
So I never find comfort in constant.
I get goose bumps when I talk about winters.
Its coldness and you are so very similar.
I love living in a blanket fort though,
you tell me you hate the way my voice shakes,
When I tell you I love you,
And I stood still every time hoping to get another reply.
I look out of the window, at the city,
Its quietness and us are so very similar.
I love rushing to mountains,
When city life seems chaotic,
And for the first time I am rushing to mountains,
Because the city life seems too silent!
I look up at the sky, the night has fallen,
11:11, I wish to melt and restore with a life.
I tuck myself in bed and sleep.
A broken heart is one of those experiences that all of us as humans can share, yet you can only it experience alone.
